Good Morning, CBC!

Our first week of sport in IP is done and dusted. The performances put in by our wonderful children has been great. This week saw some difficult cricket results to start off our week with two hard fought losses against Woodhill for the Open boys. This was followed by the rain cancelling a few fixtures.

However this did not dampen the school spirits. Practices are well attended and the boys are looking forward to the next round of cricketing fixtures against Springvale.

It was not all doom and gloom as the IP hosted the first swimming gala of the year. Despite a rainy start the swimmers held to a high standard and finishing second behind WHPS/DSG and ahead of both Woodhill and Southdowns respectively. 

I would to thank all the Mount Edmund parents for all the encouragement and support for our CBC teams this past week.

Onwards and upwards into our next week of fixtures. Best of Luck to all the teams representing the college this week!

Well done Nick on scoring a splendid 116  runs for our 1st XI Cricket Team vs PBHS  on Tuesday 24 January.  His innings included 13 fours and 7 sixes!  He also took an economical 3 wickets for just 9 runs in 4 overs.

CBC went on to comfortably win the 20/20 encounter played at the CBC Oval by 104 runs.

Good Afternoon, All

Welcome the the CBC Mount Edmund Sports Blog!

Just a heads up that the IP will be hosting its annual Interhouse Swimming Gala on the 23/1/2017. The first event is scheduled to begin at 11am. We are expecting it to be a wonderful occasion for team spirit and some healthy rivalry in order to prepare for the upcoming season. Light refreshments will be served from 11am for our supporting parents.

Our Cricket fixtures will begin next week against Woodhill College and our first inter-school swimming gala will be hosted at CBC on the 27/1/2017 with our first event beginning at 14:30.

As always we encourage parents to come down and support the Children and the College.
